Empirical Labs Betaine HCL is a natural form of Hydrochloric Acid derived from beets to help support the digestive system.

Suggested Use: Take 1 capsule with a glass of water at the beginning of each meal, or as directed by your health care professional.

Do not allow capsule to dissolve in mouth, as the acid may damage teeth.  Do not take if stomach lining is irritated (ulcer) or with medication that may cause stomach irritation, such as aspirin, bufferin, indocin, anacin, cortisone, etc.

Do not take more than one capsule per meal except under supervision of healthcare professional.  Discontinue use if burning, discomfort or nausea occurs.
